Foreign Ministry Gets New DG

Mrs. Rasie Kargbo (Nee Timbo) has been appointed as Director General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Until her recent appointment, Mrs. Kargbo served as Deputy Permanent Representative at the Sierra Leone Permanent Mission in New York.

Mrs. Kargbo had served as Head of Chancery in Banjul and Washington. She is one of the senior-most civil servants in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. She is expected to pick-up her new appointment next month, sources confirmed.
